Milo and my dad

While Milo was poorly last week and before the mad hospital dash, I went over to my mum and dad’s with him for a day of trying to keep him settled while hyped up on ventolin.

My dad read Mr Magnolia by Quentin Blake with Milo on his knee and it reminded me of one of the reasons why I probably love children’s books as much as I do. There’s something special about your dad reading to you as a child. And there’s something very special about watching your dad read to your own child.

That’s all.
