Some great advice

Amy at Literacy Launchpad tweeted a few days ago about this lovely response to a letter on The Book Chook’s blog. I just wanted to share this post with you as it is full of handy tips for dads who feel uncomfortable reading with their little ones.

The Book Chook

I especially really liked her idea of the whole family getting together to read and dad asking plenty of questions about the book being looked at. This is not only a great way to engage your child with the book, but such a fun way for a parent to be involved in their child’s reading experience. Great stuff – head over there for a quick read now!
